Dear colleagues and friends, members of the East-West Iron Club,
It is our great pleasure to warmly welcome you as we prepare to gather for the East-West Iron Club (EWIC) 2026, to be held at the University of Florida Lake Nona Campus in Orlando, Florida, on October 22–23, 2026.
Lake Nona is widely recognized as a dynamic center for medical research, education, and innovation. Anchored by its renowned Medical City—home to leading hospitals, universities, and research institutions—it offers a forward-thinking, high-tech environment that emphasizes wellness, collaboration, and discovery, making it an exceptional setting for our meeting.
As always, the program for our annual meeting will feature a broad range of topics in iron biology, designed to engage and inspire all participants through stimulating presentations and discussions.
The conference will include engaging oral and poster sessions, a keynote lecture, and interactive roundtable discussions. As we reflect on the important impact of our work on patients affected by iron-related disorders, we hope this gathering will provide a valuable opportunity to advance our field while fostering collaboration and new connections.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, as well as to the organizing and scientific committees, whose dedication and support are essential to making this event possible.
We warmly invite you to take full advantage of this unique opportunity for learning, collaboration, and collegial exchange, and we look forward to welcoming you to Orlando for what promises to be a memorable EWIC meeting.
