University of Florida – Lake Nona
The EWIC Meeting 2026 will be hosted at the University of Florida Lake Nona Campus.
Lake Nona, located in southeast Orlando, Florida, is a modern, master-planned community known for innovation, health, and technology. Spanning about 17 square miles, it has rapidly developed into a “smart city” designed for living, working, and collaboration. For a conference setting, Lake Nona stands out as a hub for medical research, education, and business innovation, anchored by its “Medical City,” which includes top hospitals, universities, and research institutions. The area is also highly accessible and offers state-of-the-art venues, advanced technology infrastructure, and a walkable town center with dining, hotels, and entertainment. Located in the beautiful Orlando Florida’s Lake Nona Medical City, the University of Florida Research and Academic Center (UFRAC) is about 8 miles from Orlando airport, with hotels within 1-2 miles radius. BEEP Autonomous shuttles provide easy access between the conference center and hotels located within the Lake Nona campus. The conference center at UFRAC support events with a capacity of up to 250 people, with customized room layout to fit the event’s requirements. All rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art IT and video conferencing technologies.
